MCS Webhosting is a division of its parent company, Michael's Computer Services (MCS). MCS Webhosting was started in August 2004, due to requests from customers for a local and reliable hosting and web-design service. Since its beginning, MCS Webhosting has steadily grown, and now is one of the leading hosting companies in its area. MCS Webhosting prides itself in genuine customer service and support, and uses proven reliable methods and software for our customer's peace of mind.
Our hosting servers offer both Windows and Linux packages, with generous features designed to cater to a broad client base. Our Data Center
We subscribe to one of the leading global data
centers, providing carrier-neutral services to companies such as Yahoo, eBay,
Unwired, and Google. Located in the Equinox Center, in Sydney, Australia, the
data center houses some of the most state-of-the-art technology available,
including server grade Supermicro data boxes, Intel Xeon Quad-core Processors,
16GB Server grade memory modules, and Seagate 15,000rpm SCSI Hard drives in
RAID 10 arrays for optimal redundancy. The data center is cooled by a
centralised chilled water plant, ensuring all servers are kept at optimal
temperature to ensure reliabilty. The centre is fully protected by 24 hour
stringent security measures, and 99.9% Uptime is guaranteed through multiple
UPS units, 2 units for each server.
